My Good Friend and My Worst Enemy

I don't know why but I feel that I've been procrastinating a lot lately. My work's a bit off track ,my time tracking methods are all over the place, and at the end of the day, I feel that I've done nothing. What I do to keep track of my task is, I have a notebook that I'll write down the ALL the things I need to do today. This past week, its the same list everyday with only 20% of it crossed out. Wonderful, yes?

On Saturday, I was watching Pursuit of Happyness (great movie btw, worth watching), and Chris Gardner (played by Will Smith) had to put in 9 hours equivalent of work just into 6 hours so he can run across town, pickup his son, take the bus to rush to the homeless shelter before it fills up. Procrastination was definitely not in this man's dictionary. Forest would have been proud seeing him run. I guess the thing I've learned from watching the movie was that no matter how much more time you think you need, if you learn to manage it wisely, you'll find the right amount of time. Also I wanna share this quote I found while trying to read up on procrastination:

Procrastination is like masturbation. At first it feels good, but in the end you're only screwing yourself.
-Anonymous-

Let me tell you a secret. I'm actually procrastinating while writing this damn thing down. I swear I have the attention span just like Homer. Time to buzz off and prepare for another day. Peace!

Removing meeting invitations from Inbox

If you're a Lotus Notes user like me, you often curse and scream at those meeting notifications just floating there. Here's a quick tip on how to remove those ugly notifications:

1) Open up your Calendar

2) Click on Actions --> Tools --> Preferences from the menu

3) Click the Calendar & To Do tab --> Display Tab

4) Select "Remove meeting invitations from your Inbox after you have responded to them". This should be under "Displaying Calendar Entries in Mail Views"

5) Click OK

Do remember that, if you delete the meeting invitation e-mail, it automatically declines the invite.

Off to a meeting. Later.

alert("Hello Dunia!");

PS: Replace the [ ] with < > then save as .html file. I can't figure out why the HTML code tag doesn't work. Sungguh celaka. Anybody care to help?

Up and Away...

Had some issues with my domain at first (i.e. need a company first to register lah, need to pay for pointing to a record lah, bla bla). Then changing information with MyNIC wasn't really an easy experience as well. I have different IDs for Admistrative contact and another one for Technical contact. You gotta like register the DNS first before you can actually point to it (which beats the hell out of me)

Anyway, it's up and I'm quite happy. Although I'm still considering the fact that I would be better off with a proper web hosting company, I think I'll manage for now. I wanna say it's a beautiful day to go out for a walk but it's pissin cats and dogs (has been for the past 2 weeks). It's like a sign asking me to start on my template and user manual for NNM's Home Base (aku pemalas - repeat and absorb message) AND learn javascript (screw you ok?, it's an elite language).

I still haven't got over my cravings, but definitely will tonight. Tommorow back to Keto. Speaking of which, still haven't got my plan (yes, to takeover the world) together. Also, gotta start putting the finishing touch for Tuesday's event. Sumpah everything is so serabut, but it'll be alright, I guess?

Gotta run. I'm out like Tyson's opponent. Peace.
