Budak budak gila

What do you get when you put 3 geekz in uptown? To equate would be like this

aphesz + e9f + qsd = > 10 glasses of drinks, atleast 3 hot plates of chicken chop, nasi goreng yang you have to remember to pay Wan, session mengutuk Kadok, and a first time ever in history, aphesz kena up pasal awek. *LOL* (dude sorry man, you know I gotta write it down).

5 bloody hours at the mamak, loaded on ais kosong kurang manis for those tgh bercinta or jiwa kacau left my butt sore and I swear its not due to any hanky panky with e9f. As usual someone was in an emo rut, and without fail got me into one for a while. That's alright sir. I'm too happy to be in that state at the moment. =)

If you crazy bitches are reading this right now, start thinking of where we are going to have our buka puasa gath man (and it doesn't matter if e9f/w0rmboy tak puasa). Haven't seen the rest of the fellas in ages.

Its fucking 9am and I'm up. Not on a Saturday, I need to do something. -EOF-

A cup of cryptic, anyone? No?

day in out all the way you wont see
all the way frozen in time time was frozed
electric felt cold razor sharp edge dont run it
against your veins you might feel it dig in
too little deep hurt you will it wont last
not now no kilowatts run straight across your head
bleed it will out it goes ulcer its like
trapped in sideways you will see only once more
until more ends even so then veins will bleed
even more then never ever heal much of this
of what brings rounds of happinessend it will

Patterns, always have, always will be. The result is:

Radiohead - The Rip (Portishead Cover)

I lied when I said I was going to sleep on it. Ended up I couldn't sleep till late, which resulted in me romancing away with my laptop. I found this really cool Radiohead clip. They covered a song called The Rip which was done by Portishead. Melancholy was filling up the room, definitely. Check it out
here:

Radiohead - The Rip (Portishead Cover)

Here's the lyrics to this beautiful song:

As she walks in the room
centred and torn
hesitating once more
as I take on myself
and the bitterness I felt
I realise that love lost
While white horses
they will take me away
and the tenderness I feel
will send the dog home to me
will I follow ?

Through the glory of life
I will scatter them on the floor
disappointed and soar
in my thoughts I have bled
from the riddles I've been fed
another light moves over
While white horses
they will take me away
and the tenderness I feel
will send the dog home to me
will I follow ?

Lunch time :)

Describing Radiohead Live

How can one actually use words to do it? Well if I had to, the word 'Awsomeness', just like Barney would say it really comes to mind. For those who have no idea what I'm yapping about, I was in Westerpark, Amsterdam on July 1st to watch Radiohead perform live. People keep on asking me, was it worth it? Every single penny sir.

My whole Euro trip was awesome as well. Still waiting for Fairol to come back with 'em pictures. You see, my camera got cocked up on the 2nd day of the trip. Don't worry, the photos will come! Well, selected ones anyway *GRIN* (like Yeh said, whatever happens in Amsterdam, stays in Amsterdam).
After the whole trip, I made a discovery when I came back. I fell in love with Stereophonics's Language, Sex, Violence, Other? album. Their first song which introduced the band to me was their cover of 'Handbags & Gladrags', which was done brilliantly. It's funny how I never took notice of them before. Here's the lyrics to the song:

STEREOPHONICS - HANDBAGS & GLADRAGS
-------

Ever seen a blind man cross the road?
trying to make the other side
Ever seen a young girl growing old?
trying to make herself a bride

So what becomes of you my love
When they have finally stripped you off
The handbags and the gladrags
That your poor old Grandad had to sweat to buy you

Once I was a young man
And all I thought I had to do was smile
well You are still a young girl
And you've bourne everything in style

So once you think you're in you're out
'Cause you don't mean a single thing without
The handbags and the gladrags
That your poor old Grandad had to sweat to buy you

Sing a song of six-pence for your sake
And drink a bottle full of rye
Four and twenty blackbirds in a cake
And bake 'em all in a pie

They told me you missed school today
So what I suggest you just throw them all away
The handbags and the gladrags
That your poor old Grandad had to sweat to buy

so you missed school today
So what I suggest you just throw them all away
The handbags and the gladrags
That your poor old Grandad had to sweat to buy you

------

and indeed folks, what does happen when we're stripped off all our handbags and gladrags?
I'm gonna sleep on it. G.N

EUROPE! RADIOHEAD! WHUTZUP!

I'm off. Been waiting over a year for this. Today is the day. I'm putting aside my confusion, frustration, and all the other -tions that's been buggering my behind. It's been hard, probably will get harder when I get back, but as for these 13 days or so, I will suffer amnesia and embrace hapiness as it comes. Promise. I'll see you soon.

Downloading from eSnips

I'm sure most of you guys know about eSnips. Recently, eSnips have decided to block downloading of mp3s (although some pages still have that download button available). Here's a software which will allow you to save the cached file from your browser and have you singing along to your favourite songs in no time at all.

The software is call Free Music Zilla and you can obtain it here:

www.freemusiczilla.com

It's pretty easy to use. Just install it, launch it, visit eSnips and locate your song. As your browser loads the song, Free Music Zilla will detect it. All you really need to do is right click and Download. You're done :) Here's a screenshot

And yes folks, I dig Anggun! She's just so hot =). Here's what I have so far

Definitely best gift ever.....

It's just a piece of paper, really it is. No, it's not a cheque. On it prints "Di 01/07/08 19H30 uur - Cultuurpark Westergasfabriek ..... AMSTERDAM!!!" Yes yes yes, it's my ticket to Radiohead's concert. Fairo passed it to me yesterday and its definitely the best post present yet! 25 days before I jet off and I can't bloody wait. We still have to sort out a few things though but its all good (I hope).

And now, how I spent my Sunday. First off, my darling was smokin' overheating twice this week, so naturally I was a bit worried. After inspection, I found out that my coolant was as much as bout an ant's piss, so I had to change it. Hoping that's the root cause of it. Afterwards, I popped round Jusco's and got my hands on some lamb (I woke up today feeling with a craving, now I look AND sound like a pregnant woman). Did a simple lamb roast with sauteéd potatoes, which I boiled first then was still unhappy so I stuck them in the oven anyways. Results were alright (although I did find the lamb slightly over done on certain parts)

Barbecuing this bad boy would definitely have done the trick as well. So next up, barbecue set, that's so going into my bday wishlist 2009. What I had plan after the scrumptious lunch was to continue my "How I Met Your Mother" marathon. I am so running out of series, I'll definitely need to get my Malaysian pirate brother to find more interestng ones. So much downloading goes on, never again I'd question the close to 10++ gb of data transfer per month. Imagine it if I was jobless and at home!

Dinner has come upon me, I shall have my toast and finish it off with a respectable amount of Baskin Robin's Chocolate Chocolate Chip Ice cream. Perfect way to end a Sunday, if I may say so myself

Roaring City

A week was enough. For those who have no clue what I'm talking bout, recently I had to attend a training in Singapore. Talk bout a boring city. OK the shopping was nice. Got myself a sweet Radiohead t-shirt. Here's a good tip, for a good selection of authentic band tees, go to Peninsula Shopping Centre. It's on the 2nd floor if my mind serves me right. Also, they have a great selection of postcards =)

The food sucked though. Everything I tasted was so bland. Fine, I loved the Swensen's choc ice-cream. Oh, also the Old Chang Kee Curry O! Heaveanly curry puff. I'll be evaluating the one in OU very soon. Speaking of food, the price of rice is expected to go up from 5 - 8% by the first of July, which comes up to bout RM2/kg. As Asians, we consume a lot of rice. So much so that we import 30% of the rice that we consume, which is about 700,000 tonnes.

So what can we do? Instead of having nasi lemak for breakfast, nasi goreng / nasi campur for lunch and dinner, why dont we have a sandwich or a bowl of salad instead? Imagine if all of us would replace our rice filled meals once a day with an alternative. It's definitely easier said I guess. Thank God I don't need rice to fuel me. I'll probably go balistic if the price of bread / chicken / tuna went up though.

I hate to say this, but I'm going to continue watching 'Desperate Housewives' marathon. Eva Longoria is so hot. Her gardener is one lucky S.O.B. Later.

PS: Check out Murder in Monochrome's track, You Wont Sleep Tonight. Simply awesome.
